LESANA HOSTS WELLNESS SPORTS COMPETITION

As part of their corporate wellness initiative, Lesana Financial Services organised an inspired wellness sports day at the Leshoboro stadium in Mafeteng. Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Seabata Ntelo delivered a rousing speech at the event, highlighting the importance of maintaining optimal health and fitness for both mental and physical well-being. He also expressed his gratitude to the participating organisations for accepting our invitation to join the competitions.
Among the distinguished entities involved were the Department of home affairs, Lesotho correctional services, the Ministry of education, Metropolitan, Alliance Insurance, Lesotho mounted police services and the Office of the district administrator.
The event featured health check-ups with blood donation services conducted by the Mafeteng Hospital and the Ministry of Health, as well as aerobics sessions with a special guest fitness trainer. The Lesotho mounted police services emerged victorious in the tug-of-war, while the athletics event had numerous winners. The netball tournament was won by the Ministry of Education Mafeteng, and there were also volleyball and football tournaments played. Lesana later held an awards ceremony that included a set of balls, trophies and medals that were shared with the winning teams of the day. We hope to repeat this event in the near future following the success of this 2022 edition.
